Two Female Suicide Bombing Kills 30 People

INTERNATIONAL - Thirty people were killed and 57 others injured in a suicide bombing by two women in a crowded market in Madagali, Nigeria, Friday (09/12/2016).

"A total of 30 people died in suicide blasts by two women in a Madagali market," said military spokesman, Major Badare Akintoye told Agence France-Presse.

"The security guard had taken control of the region to prevent the enemy to attack others," he told Reuters.

No group claimed responsibility for the attacks. However, the militant group Boko Haram alleged to be behind the attack. Boko Haram in action for the first time in 2009 and only guerrilla in Nigeria. Has now spread its influence into neighboring countries, including Niger, Chad, and Cameroon.
