INTERNATIONAL - US President Barack Obama ordered a thorough evaluation of the alleged hacking in the presidential election process which has just passed.

The remarks of the White House, Friday (09/12/2016), amid growing fears of Russian intervention in the US presidential election.

White House deputy press secretary, Eric Schultz, said Obama ordered it earlier this week.

"We are committed to ensuring the integrity of the country's presidential election," said Schutz.

"We will look for patterns of malicious cyber activity in the past presidential election, strengthen our defensive capability, and took lessons for our report to Congress and stakeholders," said Schultz.

President Obama, said Schultz, want a full report before his term ends on January 20.

"We will expose these problems as open as possible to the public. This is a top priority of the President," said Schultz.

The move comes after the congressmen of the Democratic Party pressed the White House to reveal the details of the alleged hacking by Russia during the election process.

This step was also taken after the president-elect Donald Trump disputed the findings related to the involvement of Russia's intelligence community.

One of the alleged involvement of Russia is the leaking of electronic mail from the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta, an adviser to Hillary Clinton.

The secret letters were regularly published Wikileaks few months before the presidential election victory of Hillary destructive opportunities.

A month before the presidential election, the Department of Homeland Security and the Director of National Intelligence announced alleged Russian intervention.

"The Russian government related to hacking e-mails of US citizens and institutions, including from the US political organizations," a statement from US intelligence.

However, in an interview with Time magazine, Donald Trump dismissed the allegations of the US intelligence community.
