INTERNATIONAL - Grief over the city Uyo, Nigeria south of post-collapse of the churches in the city that caused "many deaths and injuries".

Reportedly, when the church roof collapsed, hundreds of people were inside the Reigners Bible Church, including the governor of the state of Akwa Ibom, Emmanuel Udom. He was injured.
President Muhammadu Buhari, a Muslim, expressed condolences over the accident.

The church was still not completed but the workers were mobilized to accelerate the construction to be completed for the ordination, witnesses said.

However, the toll could rise because it was feared they were crushed by rubble and other iron frame.
