INTERNATIONAL - The heart of Istanbul, Turkey, was rocked by twin high-explosive bombs so that at least 15 people were killed and 69 others injured on Saturday (10/12/2016) night local time.

Turkish Health Ministry said the bomb attack occurred outside class football stadium after the match two top clubs, namely Besiktas and Bursaspo.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the explosion occurred shortly after the game was over it seemed to cause death in large numbers.

"We have witnessed, once again here in Istanbul, the ugly face of terrorism, trampling all shapes and moral values," Erdogan said in a statement released by Agence France-Presse.

Turkish state media said Erdogan was in his residence in Tarabya city, in the outskirts of Istanbul, when the twin bomb blasts.

Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said, "I strongly condemn the killers," he said, as quoted by broadcaster CNN Turk.
